Client Overview
Founded in 1989 and employing around over 3,000 people, Yorkshire Water supplies clean drinking water for over 5 million people
As part of its long-term sustainability strategy and commitment to achieving net zero carbon emissions, Yorkshire Water recently invested in large-scale solar installations across its sites. This initiative not only reduces reliance on traditional energy sources but also positions the company at the forefront of the water industry’s transition to renewable energy. Our role was to capture the scale and impact of this investment through dynamic film production.
OUR APPROACH
Using a combination of aerial drone footage and ground-based cinematography, we showcased the solar installations in context—highlighting both the technology itself and the broader environmental responsibility it represents. The result was a visual story that communicates Yorkshire Water’s innovation, leadership, and dedication to building a more sustainable future.
THE RESULT
"These guys are for real. SORA Media has a refreshing can-do attitude to their work. If it can be done they'll get it done for you. They do so without sacrificing the necessary permits, safety, insurance and the other necessary admin that comes with drone and onsite photography. Their editing work is of a very high quality too. Highly recommend."
